If you want to see Iceland, definitely rent a car. A lot of waterfalls and landmarks are spread out in countryside with miles of nothing but a handful of farms in between. Which also makes for a gorgeous drive. The place we rented our car from literally had a sign that said “The scenery is beautiful in Iceland, but please keep your eyes on the road.”
This year, I celebrated my birthday in another country: Iceland! For 3 and a half days surrounding my 23rd birthday, my best friend from high school and I went to Iceland. She is excellent at travel planning and really spearheaded our whole trip, which was awesome! I’m still learning how to be a savvy traveler.
After some Insta-stalking, I found a few cute ones and in between taking pics at the murals, we found a lot of other cute places (and saw many cute dogs) on Melrose Avenue.
